OVERVIEW

Challenge Learning Center offers a variety of programs, using experiential learning where individuals work through problem solving activities and action tasks such as ropes courses. We believe that the fun and challenge of working together and doing things that are new and exciting help to take people out of their normal comfort level and help accelerate the learning experience.

CLC’s nonprofit mission is to build stronger communities by empowering individuals to do their best. Our interactive programs provide ample opportunities for every participant to see the potential that lies within them. Self confidence rises when they get feedback on how their leadership, communication, trust, support and/or teamwork skills made a difference in helping the team accomplish its goals. This intense shared experience immediately increases the bonds between team members. When the conversation focused on what is possible for the group moving forward, a heightened sense of “we can do anything we set our minds too” is prevalent.

LEAD – Leading to Empowerment and Development – no-cost long-term leadership program for high school students

LEAP – Leading to Empowerment and Prevention – no-cost semester-long leadership program for middle school students
